…scarves! Especially this hooded scarf with pockets at Anthropologie. They call it, “An innovative way to stay warm when the weather turns blustery”, I couldn’t agree more.

…innovation! Speaking of innovative, Girl 32’s “Lipstick Smart Set” is about as innovative as scarves, hats and gloves can get. It includes a hat with Swarovski crystal buttons down the back that can be opened to slide your ponytail through, gloves with removable fingertips on thumb and forefinger for text messaging, and a scarf with a hidden zipper pocket for holding your lipstick, id or cash. My daughter received a “Smart Set” from her fabulous Aunt for her birthday and can’t wait for it to get cold enough for her to wear it!

…this beautiful handmade scarf by Etsy seller Fringe. I love everything about this scarf, the warm color combination, the use of bulky yarn and the addition of the fringe all come together to create a very stunning scarf that is sure to get a lot of compliments. She has some gorgeous shawls and caplets too!

…free patterns! DROPS Design offers tons of beautiful free knitting and crochet patterns, including this very feminine crocheted scarf. This scarf may not be the most practical choice for the very cold winters we have were I live, but who says every scarf has to keep you warm…right?
